Question about Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 ST380011A 80 GB Hard Drive
Try a program called r-studio ntfs and install this on a spare pc running xp and place the drive in question in this pc on a spare ribbon cable and have the jumpers set on master boot up pc look to see if it is being reconised in bois boot screen then if it is run program r-studio let it find all drives then select which drive to recover from then press scan on drive then let it scan the drive It'll take some time to scan drive and make sure you have enough disk space for files to recovey to.
good luck with this.
