Hello customer,

Suspect a tripped breaker, broken on/off switch, or a damaged cord if the motor won't run.
Step12Insure that you aren't running too many appliances on the circuit if the breaker continues tripping. If that's not the problem, you may have a short circuit in the power cord. Replace it immediately to avoid fire hazards. Step23Check to make sure the bag isn't full if you aren't getting much suction. Replace the bag if it's full. Step34Make sure the hose is properly connected to the machine and that there are no obstructions in the hose or fan. Step45Repair a cracked hose with duct tape. Prevent creased hoses by hanging them over two pegs on a closet wall. Step56Remove hair and strings that tend to get wrapped around the vacuum brush with a pair of small scissors. hope u find this useful.thank you.

Electrolux Velocity pet lover 1800W Drive belts keep on breaking...

Dear Judy, there are several things that can cause the problem you are having but I can give you a few things to look at. First is that you are getting the correct belt for your machine. Second is the motor and brush roll moving freely after you install a new belt & before you start vacuuming?. Third is the machine set at it's lowest setting(try a higher setting to start) finally is the belt an after-market made in china one. Quality in Chinese rubber products can suck at times. If all this is ok than it maybe best to take to your local vacuum repair shop. Good Luck-Jack of all trades bob

The special requrement of Electrolux for his vacum cleaner motors is that they working with high reliably approx 800 hours working time and no more!!! (it should stop safe with no danger for users...)

7 years has past (2 h/week x 52 x 7 = 708 working hours) so it is time for us consumers to buy new vacum cleaner...

Can i wash the filter housed in the cylinda

this is a common question asked of almost every vacuum tech. In most cases yes it can be washed. For best results if it is fibre or paper, dont wash it get a can of compressed air like you would use for a computer and blow it out. if it is any other material just drop it in the dish washer on delicate cycle and be sure to let it dry for a couple days before reinstalling it.

Ps hope this is helpfull, and dont forget to rate the solution. Thanks
