Question about Yamaha RAV-250 Remote Control

1 Answer

Trying to access the yellow functions on my RAV246 remote ie. changing the setting to Movie Theater 1 or accessing the ability to change the levels on my 5.1 stereo. I believe there must be like a "shift" button you have to press in unison with the button to access the yellow assignments. Any ideas?

Hello, yes there is a solution for this. However you are very new or not experienced enough to figure it out. I will gladly walk you on how to access those features. First let me pour some more orange juice and vodka in my cup. Very well, all you have to do is press the AMP button on the remote and voila. Let me know if it worked. Cheers.

By the way, each button at the top enable certain features of the remote.,i.e. Tv, DVD, CD, and so on. Play around with it a bit and you will certainly find many hidden uses to control different devices. Hope that helps.

How do I use the password protection?

Your questions isn't too specific but I hope this helps

There are several ways to incorporate password protection. You can set the computer to require a boot up password in the computer BIOS. You have to enter the computer BIOS as soon as you turn it on; with a Dell press [F2], with HP press [Esc] and select system configuration. In the BIOS you can set the BIOS Administrator password - controls the ability to change BIOS settings, the computer boot password - when enabled it requires the user to enter the bootup password before the computer will boot, and set the hard drive access password - controls the users ability to access a hard drive.

The next level of password protection is at the operating system level - account access levels, privilege levels, and passwords. Dependent of operating system you can also set hard drive encryption

I have a Vizio E241I-A1 Smart Tv that I am trying to program with a RCA universal remote RCRN03BR

You may have to use the correct Vizio remote to access those "smart" functions. Universal remotes are not always capable of doing this. No doubt this is explained in the instructions for your RCA RCRN03BR remote.
