Question about Audio Players & Recorders
I did the steps you suggested. Once it reformatted I checked the max recording time and it indicated 00:00-1. I shut off the unit and tuned it back on. After rebooting it indicated 00:02:06 for max record time as it did before.
Can you try another card on it? this would seem to be mainly a card problem I wonder if there is a software update for the device available I will look into that.
