The Internet is full of great places to find MP4
downloads. Check out sites such as iTunes to find a video or file you
like, and then click the download button.
A dialog box will
appear reading, "You are about to download the file
"name_of_file_you_are_downloading _will_appear_here", are you sure?"
Click "OK" to start downloading.
A File Download pop-up screen
will appear again, asking "Do you want to open or save this file?"
Click the SAVE button to save the file to a specific location on your
computer (be sure to remember where you save it!).
Once you've
saved the file to your computer, connect your mp4 player to your
computer,go to "my computer"you will see your mp4 player among the list
of drives.Click to open the drive then you can click on the file you
downloaded and drag it to your MP4 player and enjoy!
If the file
you've downloaded isn't in the correct format for your player, you may
need to convert it before adding it to your MP4 player. Basically,
you'll repeat Step 3, and save the download to a file on your computer,
then convert it and add it to your MP4 player. See your instruction
manual for details, or search the internet for a free MP4 converter to
reformat the file. This process is quick and easy and should only take
a few quick mouse-clicks.
you need to download an Mp4 converter , just search for whatever format it is in to mp4 in google and you'll get a software to convert it. then you can put them on your mp4
I had the same problem, and I solved it by going to "My Computer", right-clicking the mp4 player, and clicking "Format...". The default paremeters were already preset, so I just clicked "Start" in the dialogue box. The paremeters were :
Capacity:
1.87 GB (prolly won't be exactly the same for everyone)
File System:
FAT32
Allocation unit size:
16 kilobytes
I did not check "Quick Format"
Mine now works fine.
Note: I have Windows Vista, and I'm not exactly sure how the formatter will work on other OS's
No, right click on the START button at the lower left of your screen, and in the menu that pops up, select 'Explore'. Then, from the left side panel, find your device entry. Now you can drag and drop files into the appropriate folder.
Basically, you dont need a driver unless you are running Windows98. If you have Win 98, try downloading the software from the website, or do a google search for it.
Luckily there is a website where you can download the instruction. Go to http://www.cobyusa.com/?p=doc and select 'Mp3 & Portable' in the first box, 'MP3 & MP4' in the second and 'MP-C7085' in the last. Then click submit. Beneath the boxes you'll find links to the setup guide, manual and quick-start guide.
Hope this helps If you need more help, just ask! :)
