Camera of my laptop have been lost i dont know how to restore camera

if the webcamera was working before , RESTORE the computer to some date was working before.
If NOT, install the software with the CD coming with the computer or with the manager restoring coming too with from acer company.

Check if Imaging Devices contain the Sony Visual Communications camera driver.
If it is not listed, uninstall and reinstall the WebCam Companion Software which contains the drivers for the camera.
If issue persists, perform a system restore to an earlier time and date when the camera was working as expected.
If the issue persists even after the system restore contact any authorized service center or the sony service team to get the unit repaired.

You can use web cam Drivers CD to restore the cam drivers. In case you dont have the drivers CD, you may download the drivers from the internet. Restoring/ downloading the web cam drivers depends upon the make/ model of web cam and the Operating System you have on your PC. Let me know the make/ model and Operating System Detail and I'll try to search for the drivers.
Secondly, almost any good quality USB cam compatible with you Operating System (e.g. Windows XP) can be used.

I would try a system restore as i dont know what os you have i cannot tell you how to get to it
but if you type system restore into the start search for files and folders then it should take you there then restore back to a certain date then choose maybe yesterday or the day before or back as far as when it was ok this may just work for you it will then restart itself when it is done and will say either it has restored back to or it cannot restore back to

If it dosent you could also go to device manager find the webcam uninstall it then restart laptop and hopefully windows will reload it again correctly and you should then be able to use it again

dont connect your camera with latop. just take out the memory card & transfer it. There is not need any software.

check in system properties for hardware if this profile not available then install driver for multimedia 

You should have received restore disks with your laptop. If lost, usually, you can buy these from the mfgr. HP charges about $15.00
