Question about Nintendo Wii Console

1 Answer

I have no sound coming from my console and I was trying to diagnosis it an accidently unpluged the green video wire from the TV and now the picture is very dim. TV's ok on channels. Unpluged the Wii, turned it off and on, TV off and on, updated the Wii. Still dim picture. Did I kill it?

I would replace the cable. It sounds like it might have broken the cable. You can get on ebay. try

I,ve connected my wii to the led tv using a wiii component cable(5 leads) but have used only 3 of them red green & blue 1,s leaving a red & white 1 left i have good picture but no sound help please

your cable is split into two different connections for your tv... the red green and blue cables are for HD only. They are their own little set. the yellow cable is your video cable for normal tv's. the red and white cables are sound cables, also for normal tv's. I would unplug the red, green, and blue cables, and use the yellow, red (right sound), and white (left sound).

Good luck!

Xbox 360

make sure the TV in the correct mode, VIDEO, COMPONENTS.

if it was working before. a button might have been pushed by accident.

also your xbox360 may have died, you can try it on another TV to be sure, even though the lights come on doesnt mean the xbox360 is working.

try replacing your audio and video wires that connect from the Xbox to the TV.. if this doesn't work send the console back to Microsoft and they will repair it free of charge and ship it to you in about 3 weeks.
