Hello kadir..... since it is brand new, the best solution is to return it to the store. If you work on it yourself, you will void the warranty. If you return it, they will either just give you a new one or send this faulty one in for repair. ... That said, the one thing you can do without voiding the warranty, and assumming that it will turn on now but as you state that it still shows an empty battery, is this.
Turn it on, go into the menu and locate the reset function. Reset it. Now check to see if it still shows an empty battery. If it does, return it as it must have an internal fault. Joe

It's possibe that you have oxidation on the battery contacts inside the camera. Use a qtip or acohol or a pencil eraser to clean them. Here is a web blog that talks about power problems with digital cameras and may help you:
