Question about Heating & Cooling
Some use batteries and some do not...if it is blank or say -ac then you have most likely lost 24 volt power which originates from the inside heating unit... some units do have a fuse installed for this emergency inthe heater unit..make sure you replace it with the same size if it does... if it does not the you may have burned out the low voltage transformer in the heating unit which is usually caused by a short in the low voltage wiring somewhere. if this is a heat pump system and only happened in the heat mode then most likely the short is on the outside unit....
