I had a similar issue. Check and see if you have 2 Fisher-Price file folders under C:\Program Files. Go to My Coputer, then c drive, then program files. You should see only 1 Fisher Price folder. If you see another with Fisher-Price(2), Open that folder and select all of the files. Then select cut. Paste those files in the original Fisher-Price Folder and that should get you up and going. That is what I had to do to get mine to work again. I don't know how that second folder got created but it did.
Hope this works for you

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Unable to install EasyLink Internet Launchpad to my computer

I posted this on Amazon earlier, where people seemed to be trying to solve similar problems:

I followed all the tips here and on other sites to no avail. This AM, I finally found the problem: I had to update the flash/activeX plugins for Internet Explorer and then it worked.

I'm a Firefox user, and things were working fine until one day, mysteriously, I started to get this "Please install Flash Player 9 and ActiveX" message when we tried to launch the Easy Link software. I had Flash Player 10 on my PC, but I followed peoples' suggestions and tried uninstalling, reinstalling, updating the browser plugins, etc. Nothing worked.

Then, thinking that ActiveX is something that helps a browser run content on a web page, I wondered if the missing ActiveX component that Easy Link was complaining about wasn't browser-specific. So I closed Firefox and Started Internet Explorer, updated the Flash Player from Adobe's website through that browser and Easy Link started working right away.

I suspect that at some point Vista did a software update (as it sometimes does) that included a new version of Internet Explorer. That version probably wasn't updated to the latest Flash plugin and started causing the problem with the Easy Link software. I didn't notice it of course because I don't use Internet Explorer. If anyone is still having the problem, I recommend opening Explorer, going to www.adobe.com and clicking the button that says "Get Adobe Flash Player". Worked for me (finally).

Fisher Price Easy Link - URL Blocked Error Message

I thought this toy was awesome until I found a number of dated URLs and had no way to correct them through the parent's interface. They release updates, but not far enough. And I learned that some sites (like Dragon Tales) are gone altogether. Now I love it since I've discovered that you can correct, and even customize the URLs. On Windows XP navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Fisher-Price\Easy-Link internet launch pad\ with username being your username and edit the file URL.xml. On Vista and Windows 7 it's a bit harder to find, but just search your computer for URL.xml. Make sure you check the box to include nonindexed locations. It might take a few minutes to find. Make sure you don't edit the version in the Program Files folder because it does nothing. It's just a back up or something.
Once in there you'll see data for each fobId. the descriptions are very clear. For each one you'll see a HomeUrl= entry. This is the site it'll launch when it's inserted. Since Dragon Tales is discontinued I set this to NickJr.com which is much cooler anyway. Then you want an entry for each AcceptedDomain or RestrictedDomain. You just go onto the site and see what paths it uses and enter in these paths. For example for NickJr I added restrictions for their advertising sites such as ads.doubleclick.com as well as facebook.com. I also used this same logic to fix the broken Wiggles, Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh links where we got constant denial messages. I decided to just point Mickey Mouse to the entire Disney games page rather than limiting to only Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, so I get more bang for the buck.

I'm trying to run my fisher price easy link and it said: Internet Explorer was unable to link web page you requested. The Page might be unavailable. I tried it this morning, and Now again 5 hours later....

Try to ping it.

Start | Run ... | type "cmd", click "ok".
Type "ping www.fisher-price.com" and if it says destination unreachable, then somewhere between your computer and fisher prices's server, there's a problem.

You can phone them at 1-800-747-8697.

Easy Link Launch Pad-Sesame Street Beta

This is kinda a workaround and it will allow your kid to access anything in the new site but it will work (also will allow you to change any of the fobs to whatever you want)

Go to:

In Vista goto C:Users"Your username"AppDataLocalFisher-PriceEasy-Link internet launch pad
In XP goto c:documents and settings"Your username"appdataLocalFisher-PriceEasy-Link internet launch pad

Find the URL.xml file and make a backup copy of it

Edit the url.xml file in notepad and update the FobID of 1(make sure you made a backup copy)

<URL FobID="1" HomeURL="http://www.sesamestreet.org/home">
<DeniedDomain DomainURL="http://www.sesamestreet.org/parents/" />
<DeniedDomain DomainURL="http://www.sesamestreet.org/aboutus/" />
<DeniedDomain DomainURL="http://www.sesamestreet.org/lowbandwidth/" />
<DeniedDomain DomainURL="http://www.sesamestreet.org/termsofuse/" />
<DeniedDomain DomainURL="http://www.sesamestreet.org/privacypolicy/" />
<DeniedDomain DomainURL="http://www.sesamestreet.org/help/" />
<DeniedDomain DomainURL="http://www.sesamestreet.org/sitemap/" />
<DeniedDomain DomainURL="http://store.sesameworkshop.org/" />
<AcceptedDomain DomainURL ="http://www.sesamestreet.org/games" />
<AcceptedDomain DomainURL ="http://www.sesamestreet.org/videos" />
<AcceptedDomain DomainURL ="http://www.sesamestreet.org/playlist" />
<AcceptedDomain DomainURL ="http://www.sesamestreet.org/muppet" />
<AcceptedDomain DomainURL ="http://www.sesamestreet.org/mystreet" />
<AcceptedDomain DomainURL ="http://ads.sesameworkshop.org/openx/www/delivery/" />
</URL>

Save the file and load up the software. This has worked for me, and I have updated the dragontales to use pbskids.org as the root and now my son can access everything on PBSKids, without having to buy the other fobs. (even though we did buy a few others)

Fisher price easy link

I found a way to install the software if you do not have the CD. You can go to this link http://service.mattel.com/us/faq_results.asp?category=53&faqPage=1&product_number=L6367 and click on the tab that says "How can I manually update the software?" It will give you the link to the download, simply click save and remember where you save it to. Once it has downloaded you can double click on it to run it. It works great!!!!
