Hey Experts! I need assistnace. My Samsung 2043BWX 20" monitor is black (or blank). I do have a flashing blue LED next to the power. When I plug the monitor in a power supple without being connected to the...

Actually, the ultra high voltage 'charger' for the florecence (a.k.a. your back light)has gone Kaput...

If your lucky, someone will have a monitor like yours that has the back light come on, but no picture (should get a similar blinking light situation, but a different code. Like... blink, hold, blink blink, hold, blink). In this situation (if your comfortable doing it) you can swipe the exciter from that monitor and put it in your monitor. Obviously this is a more economical way of repairing the monitor.

Just to be on the safe side (as the repair is blindingly easy. 6 screws, pop out, pop back in) DON'T touch any of the back side components. You WILL shock the supreme **** out of yourself. Between the heavy duty capacitors and the ultra high gain transformers on those things you could jump start a bus. So don't be fooled... those little transformers pack a mean sting.

Hope this helps...

We have a washer model #110 and OL keeps blinking

hello,

what OL indicate means an error code that there have been an over flow of water from the drum over to the panel or the wire that suppl power to the screen .

what you will have to do to fix up this problem from the screen is to unscrew the screws with screw driver care then trace the wire ,that is the power supply down to the panel and also to the screen clean up all forms of liquid around the wires and also the panel carefully . then couple it back with care to is position with this the problem is solve.

thank you.

I had a power outage and when the power returned my computer was off as expected. I tried to push the on/off button but only get the power light in the button to flash and I hear a sound in the speakers at...

sounds like your power supple has failed - you can pick any ATX powersupple from bestbuy or a retail store get a 400 watt or better ...

this is a easy way to see if the computer is shot - if a new power supple wont work - then you might need a new computer and you can return the power supply .... 40 to 50 bucks for a good power supple vs paying some 50 bucks to tell you the power is shot plus the part = 100 fix and it's easy to put in ... if you can plug up a hair dryer or a coffee pot you can change a power supply
