They're files just like any other. Copy and paste them to your PC HDD. Probably end with the suffix .MP4 or .AVI

Once copied, double click on file icon to play, if they don't, you probably don't have the correct codecs installed on your PC. Go to filehippo.com download and install VLC media player.

You can't without some very expensive software...and even then, the quality of your video will degrade significantly. Always shoot horizontally.

Avi movie file will not transfer to hard drive, file size 1.5 gb, about 30 mins long, will playback fine on camera, have tried finepix and microsoft viewer software as well as just copying it across but...

You can try to go to my computer, find the file that the camera is on, and then leave that window open. Then go to my documents, leave that window open. Go back to my computer folder. Click and grab the video file and drag it over to the my videos file and let go of the mouse so it will drop in that folder. Otherwise try kodak easy share or quicktime

Hello

Thank you for using FixYa for your problem

Always check the batteries first but if is it still giving the same fault, your camera is faulty.
It should be taken to an authorized repair centre for a repair estimate. Very few digital cameras have any user-serviceable parts.

Please rate our solutions and if you still have problems please call back for more ideas to help you

Not as such but you can link photos together, after the individual photos have been taken, into making a video of them.

Cannot download video taken to windows pc

The videos taken should be in the same directory as the photos, but with a different extension. If you look at your memory card in windows explorer, the directory structure looks like "drive letter: \ DCIM \ 100SANYO \ SANY0001.JPG" or "drive letter: \ DCIM \ 100SANYO \ SANY0002.MP4"

The .MP4 files are the videos. You can copy them from that directory to somewhere on the computer where you can edit them or put them onto DVD.

Emailing Video taken on a FinePix A800

Hi!

It's possible that the video file you are sending is too large. A few seconds of video from your camera will already be in a few megabytes (assuming that the camera is set to high resolution). How large is the file?

For smaller file size of video from your camera, you can lower the frame size. Here's how you do it:

If you are planning to send the file via email - select a lower quality.

I hope that helps.

Have a nice day!
