Sorry to read about your problem, I hope this helps you out.

You can try to unplug the oven, other than that their is no reset.

Microwaves must be serviced by technicians due to the inherent dangers involved in repairing these appliances. Internal capacitors can retain a lethal electrical charge even though the unit is completely unplugged. A microwave radiation leakage test must be performed on the unit following any internal component repair.

Microwave has SE message in window

Hi John, thank you for your inquiry!

An error code SE relates to a shorted keypad. Let's try resetting your microwave by either flipping the household circuit breaker off or unplugging. This usually clears most false-error codes. Wait approximately ten minutes and if the error code does not clear, it would be advisable to reach out to an experienced technician to make the appropriate repairs.

Best regards!

GE over range microwave JVM1870SK03 stops working approximately 3-4 minutes into heating cycle

<--- I'm happy to help you. Yes, it's overheating and the magnetron's thermostat is opening to protect the magnetron until it cools, then it turns power back on.

It could be due to a failed or unpowered cooling fan motor. Have your cooktop lights gone out recently?

When a cooktop bulb goes out, a surge may occur if the filament shorts, or when the bulbs are removed or installed without first unplugging the oven from the power line. Either can cause such a failure on the controller.

The lights can can be inoperable or stuck on or stuck in "night light" mode. Sometimes this will similarly affect the fan operation or inside light, too.

I repair boards in such cases.

It may instead be a dirty filter.

If the unit is set to recirculate, it will use a charcoal filter, which should be replaced every 6-12 months.

If it's not set to recirculate, then the grease filter may just need to be washed.

Or your ductwork may be blocked by an animal nest or debris. The entire duct and the outside vent / flap must be clear.

You can download GE owner's manuals and installation instructions here.

You can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number from the tag on the oven here.

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for about 5 minutes, then try again.

Frigidaire FFMO1611LS microwave does not beep

Hi Paul R - Reset the microwave by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and restart unit. If unit continues to not beep, then it may be experiencing a wiring failure or faulty board. A professional is recommended to properly assist with the repairs. You can often locate a certified technician by visiting the manufacturer website.

The microwave will heat for 2 minutes and then shuts down, no power and nothing works. After 5 minutes it will click back on and I have to reset the clock and wait till I decide to use it again. If I use...

Hi there!
This may be temperature related. The microwave is fitted with thermal switches which opens when it gets too hot. this bypassing all current running to the point of operation. Normally there is a switch mounted on the magnetron( the item which heats the food). If this runs too hot it will cause the switch to open. If left off for a while it will reset under normal temperature. This I think is your problem. However it will have to be seen to by a repairer. Hope this helps you in your decision. Best Wishes and Good Luck. JUS004

Panasonic Microwave Convection Oven Model NN-8501Vstops after one min. of operation-Display goes to all

If you unplug the ac power cord , wait between 30 and 60 seconds and then replug the cord in, push the reset button and then select the time ot cook desired followed by the start button, it seems to work fine for a while (days) and then for some unknown reason it stops after one minute of operation and returns to all eights on the display. A real mystery as to why this is happening and what is really wromg with the unit.
