We cant figure out how to get the microphone to work on the band hero for the wii...???

Instructions
  1. Step 1 Plug the adapter into the USB outlet at the top of the Wii. Face the sensor toward where you will play. Boot up the Wii.
  2. Step 2 Press the button on the front of the microphone to sync it up with the Wii; a blue light will confirm that the sync was successful. Do this before or after you boot up the Wii, but before you select the video game you want to play.
  3. Step 3 Turn on the Wii and insert a microphone-usable game.
  4. Step 4 Speak. Use the microphone to choose commands (Wii Speak) or talk to friends over the Wi-Fi network (Animal Crossing). Stay in the range of the adapter, which is 3' to 9'.
Ps dont forget to rate me here in fixya,

Thanks guys

Does wii wi-fi work on a mac

If you are using a wireless router or timecapsule into the mac then that should work wireless no problem with a wii. If you don't have a router you will need one to access a net connection on the wii.

Change the samson airline 77 microphone for a AMT, for sax player

Unfortunately, you don't have enough information to go on to give you a definative answer.

The Sampson Aireline will plug onto ANY xlr type DYNAMIC mic and should work.

The one thing on the AMT Elite I found said it was a "condenser" type element which means it would NOT work with your Sampson setup. Condenser mics require a Phantom power arrangement to charge the element and operate the local FET input amplifier.

If you are trying to mic a violin, the Airline 77 that was for the dynamic mics is a very poor choice as it is low impedance. Most violin pickups use a Piezo pickup which requires VERY high impedance input amplifier.

For my wife's violin we use an Autolycus pickup and an X2 wireless sytem. The pickup comes from New Zeeland and the X2 is CD quality digital wireless link. You have to make your own connector at the violin for the X2 cable was intended for guitars.

Cant connect wii to internet

The unit can connect to the Internet by utilizing its 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, which is built in, for wireless connections or via a USB-to-Ethernet adaptor for DSL connections.
For your wireless connection or Wi-Fi, the 802.11b Wi-Fi has a data rate of 11 Mbits per second and has an indoor range of 30m or approximately 98 ft. The 802.11g has the same indoor range, however the data rate is at 54 Mbits per second. If you have an existing wireless connection or are in a Wi-Fi hotspot, the unit will connect to your wireless connection automatically out of the box. If you do not have a wireless network, however, you will need to have your wireless network subscription done or set-up first. Once you have wireless Internet access, you then search for your access point, put in your security settings and you’re good to go. It would also be advisable to have a wireless router for this so that you won’t have to shuttle the connection between your PC and your Wii. wi-fi-usb-connector.thumbnail.jpgAnother option would be to connect your Wii via the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector. This accessory allows Nintendo Wii users who do not have an existing Wi-Fi connection or a compatible Wi-Fi network to create one through their broadband or DSL connected computer. This is inserted into your existing computer’s USB port and the Wi-Fi USB Connector acts as a wireless access point for the Wii. This allows the user access to the internet and to play Wi-Fi Connection games from Nintendo Online.
nintendo-wii-lan-adapter.thumbnail.jpgFor your DSL connection, however, you will need to have quite a few things. You can use a WII LAN adapter to connect your Wii to your DSL modem. You can also use a router so that you can use your PC and your Wii at the same time. With the LAN Adapter though, to use or plug in the Wii, you must disconnect your PC. This can be quite tedious since you will have to plug in and out your PC and your Wii every time you need to use one or the other. A LAN Adapter is fairly cheap, but if you get a router, your PC and your Wii can go online at the same time, saving you the hassle of connecting one or the other when you need them. You can then hook up the existing ethernet cords to the back of the router and connect it to the Wii via a USB 2.0 cord.

i hope this helps

The microphone for the Wii connects to a usb port in the rear of the unit. Make sure that the microphone that you are attempting to use is a usb mic (rectangular end) and not a headphone jack type.

Wii wi-fi

You need to go through the wireless setup on the Wii settings page to ensure that the security settings are coorrect. You may also need to check the placement of the Wii because if you keep it in a TV cabinet it might not be able to get the signal.
