I have a Frigidaire Dryer (very liittle use, 2 winters) it runs a few minutes then all lights blink and stops running. Do I really need to replace the "motherboard" and spend $160, and can I fix it myself?

The first thing to check is the main terminal block and make sure you have the correct amount of power to the unit.

If you have a power meter you can check the continuity on all the thermal fuses one on the back wall of the unit and the other on the heating element can and the other on the front blower housing.

if every thing elsse checks as good then you will need to replace the main control board

I replaced the motherboard (easier said than done) plugged in dryer, it immediatly started to beep and light flash and change and then E65 code? Does it reprogram itself or do I need to reset something or was it not the control board???

We have a frigidaire infiniti dryer AEQ6500CFGO it runs for about ten minutes an shuts off, lights on right hand side blinking and no heat! Ive replaced main board and same problem? Help plz! :)

Check the airflow, one way to do this is unhook the dryer from the ductwork and let it run with a wet load of clothes to see if it stops. If it does not then the issue is lack of airflow because of the ductwork. If it does stop then the issue is because of overheating somewhere else.

Good Morning friend, thank you for your post!

From my understanding your Frigidaire dryer, LEQ1442ES1, will run and then shut down after three or four minutes. I would recommend a reset on your dryer which you can do by unplugging your power cord for roughly ten minutes.

If that does not correct the issue it sounds like a potential problem with your control panel or a sensor. I would suggest having a professional come out and repair your appliance to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. -Matt

Dryer will run but will not heat and the lights all flash

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand that your Frigidaire dryer, model# GLEQ2152ES, will run for a few minutes and then stop and display "AD" with the lights flashing. The "AD" means that your appliance was in an automatic dry mode. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and start any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Frigidaire dryer dries for a few seconds then stops and lights blink.

Hi laylabetes - Answering your question, there isn't a way to actually CLEAN the control panel. Depending on an actual diagnose from a professional, the part would need replacing or if possible repair. However, if your model is electric, turns and there is no heat, it could possibly be a blown fuse. There are two house fuses that supply voltage to your dryer circuit in your fuse box. If one of the two is blown, the dryer may turn but will not heat. Check and replace fuse in fuse box if necessary. Please feel free to reconnect if this does not resolve your issue - Best, Chris

My Frigidaire dryer FEQB4000FSO stops running and the lights blink after just a few minutes. What could be the problem?

Your dryer inside of it. The drum turns on two wheels and the drun its self has a belt around it the wheels are on each side of the drum on the bottom and have bearings in them that fail letting the drum ride on metal to metal making a scrubbing or dragging metal sound. This is what your problem is it is not an expensive fix but just make sure this is all you are charged for. Please rate my solution and leave testimonial this is how i earn my achievements Thanks in advance

Dryer runs for 10 mins and shuts off.

Your dryer motor has a thermal overload built in to it. If your symptom is shutting down allow to cool and it works again for a few minutes the shuts down again.

We have a dryer model LEQ1442ES0 and after running for a few minutes all lights go out ,unit stops and starts right back up and all lights on right side will blink 9 times as unit stops. lights continue to...

Replace the thermistor to take care of this problem. When it is bad, it thinks the unit is too hot so it opens the circuit that is why the unit stops. This erratic behavior causes what you described. It looks like this.ef36731.jpg
