It sounds like you have a thermocouple problem. Locate the thermocouple and make sure it is in the flame while the pilot is lit. If the pilot flame is weak, try to correct. Some pilots have a small air hole in the tip a short distance back from the flame that can get clogged with dust. Some don't have this hole. Your thermocouple may just need to be cleaned. This can be accomplished with some fine steelwool or emory cloth. Let me know if you have any questions.

Propane torpedo lights but doesnt stay lit

I'm confused. First you listed this as a propane torpedo heater. Second, it's a problem with and All Pro PK115 T Forced Air Kerosene Space Heater. And finally, you say "propane torpedo lights but doesn't stay lit."

Which is it? To really help you, I'll need the correct manufacturer's name & model number. And whether it's propane or kerosene fired?

Thanks.

I 50,000-85,000 All Pro Propane heater release red button fireout

If the red button has to be held down for a period of time to get the heater going it overrides the shutoff mechanism. If you are holding it the prescibed amount of time then either the hydraulic system which keeps your unit running is bad or out of place or the metering valve is bad. Check for a copper line with a bulb on the end. It should probably be in the fire created by the heater, if not bend it to be in the heat or very close. If this is ok then you may need to get a new burner for the unit which would probably mean buying an entire new unit as the cost would probably exceed the cost of a new unit. Let me know how you make out.

Heater won't stay lit after releasing yellow button

you need to replace the thermocouple at the burner tip it will be a copper line with a bulb in the flame tip with a copper tube leading back to the gas valve and it senses the flame and keeps the gas valve open
