It sounds like you carburetor is dirty, this is common when they sit for extended amounts of time. First I would try removing the air filter and spraying the carb with carb cleaner and letting it soak in, Then start it up, (it may be difficult) when it starts rev it up and cover the air intake so it could possibly **** the blockage through, other wise you would need to disassemble the carb an manually clean it.

Sounds like the fuel filter is plugged up. replace with new filter. also check air cleaner. Also try a few bottles of Heet dry gas in case this is a water in fuel problem. Try the dry gas first.

My stihl whipper snipper loses power and cuts out when i try to rev and apply throttle.

With 2 strokes I always start with 'AIR' 'FUEL' 'SPARK' from the sounds of it the choke might be stuck on (choking the motor ha ha) also check the air filter, You have fuel and its moving through but the fuel filter might be slightly clogged. As its starting and going on low your spark unit is ok but you might need a new spark plug.

Starts and runs but than when I try and cut wood it loses it's power

It is probably a fueling problem. Small engines have small fuel and air passages so an almost clinical cleanliness is needed for refueling - this isn't often known or even possible so problems are almost inevitable.

Initially I suggest you try adjusting the carburettor fuel screws after referring to the instruction book (and ensuring the air filter is clean).
If this doesn't cure the problem it would seem the fuel system, including the carburettor, needs cleaning.

My tuscon looses power intermittently, sometimes when accelerating, sometimes when just driving. It will do this for 1-2 days then will be ok for a week before doing it again. I can put into neutral a

Could be be clogged fuel filter or air filter or poor output from fuel pump. Low fuel pressure etc will cause it to "starve" for fuel. Clogged air filters will do similar thing causing it to choke for air. You said it loses power, does that mean it stops running and the engine dies or is it just not giving you as much acceleration as you need.

Could also be the drivetrain like torque converter or transmission depending on the model if it is automatic. If it is standard then it would not sound like a drivetrain problem, my first suggestion if to get your fuel filters cleaned and then have a fuel system cleaning done.

They will physically clean the throttle body and add a solution to the intake while it is running as well as pour an additive into the fuel tank.

First things first, fuel system cleaning, then fuel filter/s. Then check fuel pressure output.

Trouble troubleshooting

Dirty fuel filter, clogged injector(s) water in fuel, dirty air filter. try fuel additive to clean injectors and remove water. replace air filter, fuel filter. possible could be the injector pump, would have to do a pressure check on fuel rail.

you can get saw specific parts from a Husq. dealer or you can make shift something to get you by. the key is to make sure the hole in the tank is slightly smaller then the diameter of the hose to ensure there is no air leak there. I drill the tank hole out a size at a time until I have to force the hose in that will fit snuggly on the carb inlet then replace the fuel filter with one that fits the line

I have a husq leaf blower that has a hard time starting - it used to take 2-3 pulls but now takes 8-10. I cleaned the spark plug and air filter - no change. Any suggestions?

Have you tried cleaning the carb? If not go buy some carb cleaner and spray in the openings where the fuel lines are attached to the carb.
Good luck!

Won't accelerate faster than 55mph. Loses pwr..

When you losing speed, do you lose RPM? This is important. 1- If you don't lose RPM then you have a problem with your torque converter. 2- If you lose RPM then you have a problem with fuel air mixture and this is controlled by ECM. Usually ECM is not a problem, but the problem is coming from other sensors contributing fuel: air mixture control like Air mass flow control ans Oxygen Sensor besides the throttle body valve is gummed up and need a through clean. So try to address the last one first then follow in reverse order if the case is in # 2. Good luck.
