Probably not. The best thing you can do is either contact MB directly or go to a shop that sells that amp and ask them.

I have an old soundstream reference class a 5.0 and a set of mb quart pwe 254 10 duel voice coil subs. i would like to know how to wire this set up for the most power. parrallel the voice coils then run...

The Soundstream Class A 5.0 will deliver its full power at 1 ohms mono.
I think your subs are two dual 4 ohm voice coils.
If you wire the voice coils for each sub in PARALLEL, that's 2 ohm for each sub. To get 1 ohm mono, you need to hook up the subs in PARALLEL to the amplifier, in bridge mode. That's the way to get to 1 ohm mono. Please add a fan to your setup as the amplifier will get very hot. You will need to use a relay to hook up the amplifiers and fan(s) to or you will damage the remote ouput of your HU (if you hook up the fan straight to the remote of the HU) as the remote output of the HU is not designed for the amount of current a fan draws.
Good luck. If you need help with the relay issue, have a look here: http://www.caraudiohelp.com/newsletter/multiple_amplifiers.htm

Need help trying to locate.the Power and speaker plugs for Mb Quart RAA1000 monoblock 1975 Car Amplifier.

Hi,

I am assuming you are referring to the actual connectors/plugs that are needed to wire the MB Quart RAA1000, a complete wiring kit is available here. It includes patch cord, power cable, grounding cable, turn-on lead among others.

If you want a pictorial layout of the wiring and connectors, the owner's manual would be of help and is available here.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Cant wire to mono amp

Hello danielperez9,

There are two options for wiring a single 2ohm DVC subwoofer to a mono amp. The first gives a 1ohm load and should only be used if your amp is stable at 1ohm. The second option results in a 4ohm load and would be OK for most amps. Here are the diagrams:

Hope this helps.

Power and speaker cables

Most electronic stores carry these, radio shack, circuit city, best buy. One thing, when buying the power wire, make sure the guage is right for the wattage.. to small of a wire may hinder the performance of the amp.

Make sure to cover each wire with electrical tape so as to keep from arcking this is what i did with mine when i lost the plug.

Directed 1100d 2-channel amp

You will bridge the amp, and if the subs are all 8 ohm subs, you can probably wire them all in parallel, if they are all 4 ohm subs, you would wire then in series.

Plugging it up

Dam Jaggy87, I think I would let them hold the amp and go somehere else. I would not want someone who doesnt understand putting anything in my car.

The Plugs may be Speaker level and Line level input.
