Problem with Air Conditioners

nordyne m1 series air conditioner is barely putting out cold air

our Nordyne m1 series air conditioner turns on but only blows out a little cool air. We can keep the air conditioner on for hours and it does not cool the house down. What is going on?

    • check for leaks in the duct works, have freeon checked unit puts out 65 deg at floor vents but don't blow out to much air flow unit is a Medalion series temp is 86 outside...80 inside...thermostat at 77

      it is a 4 ton unit model #MS3QA-048KA

Intertherm does not offer a wiring diagram for the E1 series anymore. So I have included a link to the E2 series. They are very similar and you may find this service manual helpful for whatever problem you may be having.

If you have 24 + volts between common and w or w2 when your thermostat is calling for heat, you might have a or a couple of defective heat relays or sequencers.
