Where are oiling points for janome 8002d serger
Find the Owners Manual, either in a drawer or online. It should give you all the oiling points, type of oil recommended, frequency. If not, look for small holes near the bearing journals and slides. Gotta have a little mechanical aptitude here. Sometimes you will have to purchase, bribe, blackmail, trade, or barter for this skill/expertise, but usually one eye and half sense will suffice. It ain't that hard. Open the covers, turn it over, rotate the hand wheel, look for moving parts that "touch" other non-moving parts. ALL of them. When in doubt: oil. Just a drop or two will do. Excess will get slung off, or drip on your knees.

You might notice that it runs much quieter with a little oil!!
