Question about LG Televison & Video
First, you need to do some sound troubleshooting. Check the volume of the DVD from the DVD remote (not TV), make sure it is set to highest. Also check the DVD remote and make sure mute is not activated.
If the above is intact, then the next to check is your audio connection. Check the back of the DVD, the red and white (left & right) RCA space is for Audio. It has to be Audio out. Connect the Audio out of the DVD to audio in of the TV and see if there would be sound. If there is still not sound, try all the red and white space at the back of the DVD. Also, check your Audio wire, make sure its not defective. A defective wire can debar audio.
If after trying the above and there is still no sound, then problem has to be from the internal part of the player. The Audio/Sound IC on the player's board maybe defective and maybe that's why there no sound.
