Problem for Samsung SCH-A850 Cellular Phone

Samsung sch-a850 stuck in infinite boot cycle

When i turn my phone on it goes through the loading screen, into the metro pcs logo and then freezes for about half a second and starts over. I can access the emergency download mode using *9 Send however i still cannot get any further than this... any ideas on what may be wrong or how to solve this problem? (This started when i turned my phone off during the day and tried to turn it back on)

- I finally gave up and bought a new phone. The service tech at the store said that they quit servicing that phone a while ago.
