The Amp was discontinued. So Crutchfield doesn't have the parts in stock.I have a wiring kit.Just need the Power and speaker plugs for Amp

  • 727trendsett Jul 09, 2008

The speaker and power plugs were made by the company. They plug directly into the Amplifier.Amplifier can't be installed without plugs.

Have you looked on eBay? Probably your best bet. I can't look for you from work as eBay is blocked but just search for the amp model and something should come up.

Hi,

I am assuming you are referring to the actual connectors/plugs that are needed to wire the MB Quart RAA1000, a complete wiring kit is available here. It includes patch cord, power cable, grounding cable, turn-on lead among others.

If you want a pictorial layout of the wiring and connectors, the owner's manual would be of help and is available here.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Alternately, you perhaps you can try posting it here.

If the original manufacturer could not provide the parts/connectors needed and there are none readily available, perhaps your options are rather limited to:
    1. look at eBay and/or repair shops for units identical to your model being sold AS-IS/defective but with the parts that you need; or
    2. hard wire extension wires with readily available connectors if your requirement is for the power and the speaker connectors.

Hi i got two speakers clarion xw 1500 ,i`m looking for amplifier good quality and strong enought can supply power for two subwoofer speakers same time, please help me tomargos3@op.pl

The Clarion sub woofers that you have are 600 WATT RMS each, with a combined power handeling of 1200 WATT RMS. Your best option is buying a 1 ch Amplifier (monoblock) Anything in the region of 1000 to 1500 RMS will be more than enough. Brands that you should look at MTX, Phoenix Gold, Soundstream, MA Audio, Kicker, Hifonics, MB Quartz these are but few of the good quality brands out there in the mid to high end range.
If you are on a tight budget then a good alterrnative without a lot of compromise on quality versus cost then Quantum Audio, Crunch Audio, Kenwood will still do the job just fine.

If you are not restricted by budget. Zapco, Mcintosh, DLS and others are up there in the creme de la creme of car audio.
Another brand name that i have used that is not very well know (as far as i know) is Elemental Designs. They have a great monoblock amplifier that delivers all its power at 12V as oposed to most other brands needing 13.8V (V=Volts) and over, it is also suprisingly inexpensive for its quality.

I hope this helps you in the right direction.
Respectfully

My amp is not powering up anymore

take the amp out the trunk and connect directly to the battery, use a jumper wire for the remote from the constant power 12volt , if the amp fail to turn on it may be damage. check the fuses and look for any burnt connection.use a test light to test for power at the connection.

Amp powers on, but stays in protect mode

Shorted output transistors are the most common reason for amplifiers to go into protect. How much do you know about electronics/electronic components?

If you're a newbie, read THIS page.

Would it be possible to send me a set of high quality photos of the amp's internals?
