i have this whirpool oven with ceran schott cooktop, which was broken, when some soup boiled over on it. Is it possible to get a new piece of glass, or do i need to replace the whole thing?
We've had two defective slide-in ranges - brand new JennAirs - with the Schott Ceran top broken. One exploded while in use. No one at Jenn-Air seems to take responsibility for this part of their product. The new part costs more than $1,200, plus installation.
Also,after some soup boiled over on it, the glass exploded.
