I believe that calibre watch is now discontinued. I just bought one on closeout (at a great discount!). I have been reading the manual and it appears that the battery in the watch is a proprietary battery that is not available from sources other than Citizen. It's not an off the shelf battery, I think you'll have to get one made for that watch (ugh) from an actual service/repair location.
The manual specifically says that although you might force a similar sized battery in to position, it will either not work or will be prone to rupture.
    To me, this seems likely.
I am interested to hear if you were able to find one, or if citizen is going to abandon it's old customers through obsolescense. i got this watch to put it on a shelf and enjoy seeing if it will run for the next fifty years without having to fiddle with it.

I received watch for x mas and Sat 4/2 it stopped wound it and it stopped again 4/4 is it not getting enough light or do I have a bigger issue. Thanks

Eco-drive watches do not need winding or batteries, so if you are winding it to make it work, then it is not a true Eco-drive watch.

How to a recharge a citizen eco drive silhouette ladies watch..model number sy2030-54E?

Do you mean, you haven't been wearing that watch but to put it in the drawer for a long time?
If so, to recharge the battery, just put your watch outside or anywhere it can catch the sun ray or day light. After few hours or about a day, the battery has been re-charged and your watch will work.
If it still doesn't work after doing that, buy a new watch. Don't bother to repair the watch or to replace the Eco-Drive battery, because of the cost.

I have an eco-drive watch. Model EW8XXX/EP4XXX/Cal.No. B023. Is this watch still available & what is the cost?

The manual can be found at http://www.manualslib.com/manual/710956/Citizen-Quartz-Ctz-B8025.html?page=3#manual.
The instructions require studying them close, because after the watch looses power for a long time, under the sun the second hand will move in a special sequence to signal it (1) needs the time to be set, and (2) the internal battery is or is not fully charged. Please read Note(2) of the manual.

Citizen Eco Drive WR100 has been in a closed jewelry case for over a year. How should I proceed in "recharging" the watch?

Eco Drives don't have batteries they have capacitors. The watch needs to be placed in natural light, sunlight is best, for a day or so. Here are the instructions from Citizen. It also gives information on resetting so it will work after recharging.

Citizen Eco Drive watch

The Citizen Eco Drive watches use special recharchable batteries.
I started collecting a couple of watches and I noticed sometimes a jeweler replaces them with an ordinary battery. The watch will work and at the same time it will try to recharge this one until it explodes! In newer models they made it harder to use the non-rechargable ones by adding a special connector or clip to the rechargable battery types.
Okay, if you say your battery goes bad, did you store your watch in a drawer as many people do? It may have lost the charge over time. First thing to try is to leave it on the window sill so the dial is in the sun. It will start ticking, but please leave it out there for 3 days to a week. The seconds hand will tick irregularly in steps of one and two seconds, to show you it wants you to readjust the time, as it knows it has lost time. Adjust the time and it should run smoothly.
The seconds hand should run in single second steps, if it takes steps regularly, but every 3 seconds or so, it tries to tell you that its power level is going down. It will be able to continue for one or two days, but you should get it into the sun more often.
Charging the battery under a lamp is possible, however this heats up the watch and this may reduce battery life.
If you need to know more about the Eco Drive, look for detail tech manuals for all types here: http://www.citizenwatch.com/downloads/tech/tech.htm
Those are great watches as long as you remember it needs light to charge.

I HAVE A CITIZEN WATCH THAT THE GLASS IS BROKEN AND IT WILL NEED A BATTERY.THE NUMBER ON BACK IS 430076.WHERE CAN I GET THIS REPAIRED LOCALLY.I AM IN HARFORD CO.MARYLAND 21040.THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

Yes local watch service center near to your place can change the glass, tell the technician that is a mineral glass a scratch proof.
About the battery your watch has no battery it is a self powered, that's why they called it eco -drive,that is the features of your watch.
There's like a dynamo inside when you move, it produce electricity and stored it in barrel like a battery cell, the electricity stored there expired in two weeks ,if ever you don't use your watch, you better use so it can stock many electricity.
if my answer help you understand the problem rate me as FIXYA.......thank you in advance
