Sound like the card is corrupted. Take it out and try in a card reader, search for image recovery software if you can't read the card properly. When you've finished trying to get the images off the card format the card and retry in the camera.

After takeing one picture it says memory full

Do you have a formatted memory card in the camera? The camera only has 5MB of memory and I'm not surprised two 10megapixel pictures won't fit in it.

Lost disc to connect my camera to new laptop

You don't need any software.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

Write protect 10.1 megapixel C1033

Look at your memory card. SD and SDHC cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

I don't know what camera brand is this but if it has a memory card check the lock knob on this. Put it in the "Unlock" position. Good luck.

I just bought a new camera ( a C1033 model) and after taking one picture it says the memory is full. I do not have the memory card, so how can I get the camera to use the internal memory?

I would return this camera immediately to the store where you purchased it, since you just bought it, they should either esamine it for the problem you are having, Then replace it or tell you where you have to return it to for a factory replacement.

In the meantime, I would not delete the photo that you have taken so that they can see the problem. Did it come with a small memory card? My resources show that this camera normally comes with a quick start guide and sometimes a manual as well. You might have a look at these. I cannot find an online manual for you.

Good luck.

This camera reads "card error" and won't format a

yes. you can try to insert the sd card to a computer using any all-in-1 memory card reader. then if windows detects it, right click the card's drive in windows explorer then select format. choose FAT as file system type. before you put it back to your camera clean the card's contact points, insert the card and if the camera detects the card format it again using the camera's format tool.

Most cameras need the card to be formatted in the camera to get it to work with the camera's operating system. This will erase the card so download any pics you want to save first.
