The upper oven door is

The upper oven door is locked shut and will not release. All lights are off on the display panel and the oven does not respond when any setting are pushed. I have reset the circuit breaker several times but upper oven remains locked and no panel buttons respond. All other electric is fine in the home. Any suggestions

im to assume that this happened while self cleaning, sonds as if you have had a high limit thermostat go bad adn has shut down oven function( depending on model there is also a fuse inline with the main control panel to protect it from the heat/ power surge, unit will need to be pulled out to acess fuse behind the unit
