If by DOS you mean CMD, then use the HELP command. Most of the available commands that you can use will appear. Other commands are used by external programs.

What happens wen rtc Batt is unloaded

Hello. batt files or batch files are used by your operating system to run a list of commands created by ms-dos or by you. A good example of a batch file is the autoexec.bat which is loaded each time the computer boots to MS-DOS. Batch files are like shortcuts on your desktop, when they are run they pass information through the command line and these sets of instructions run commands or programs on your computer. Did that help?

Format.....

To format a hard drive, You can simply use the Fdisk command from DOS -
C:\fdisk
This will bring up a list of commands and useage.
You can also use the format command from within DOS -
C:\format c:
This will prompt you "all data on disk C will be lost, are you sure?"
Type 'Y' and hit enter.

From within a windows/linux/unix environment, you can right click on the disk you'd like formatted and select "format".
From within Mac OSX, open disk utility, and select the disk you'd like to format. Click on "unmount disk". Once unmounted, you may format the selected disk.

Hope this helps.

Check list utility on Windows 7

Check Disk Utility???

To run the check disk utility you will need a repair disc ora operating system disc. Put the disc in the cd drive and boot fromit. You want to get to the Dos Command Prompt (Black screen with whiteletters) and type the following command: chkdsk /r
Check disk will run well over an hour or two and you will notice thepercentages going from high to low, this is normal. Let it run tocompletion. Then reboot machine.

If check disk fails to solve your problem you might have to reinstall windows.Try doing a Repair Install that way you don't loose your data, documents, music, pictures, videos or programs.

In windows xp you get to the dos command prompt by selecting R for repair whenthe options appear.

In Vista and Windows 7 you want to get to the recoveryconsole and look down at the bottom of the window for the Dos Command.

Good day, pls. help me, how can i install network ip address for konica 7035. thanks alot

Using arp command (Windows 95/98/NT/2000)
From Windows 95/98 MS-DOS prompt or at Windows NT/2000 command prompt, you can use the arp
command to assign the IP address to the network interface card. It is necessary that TCP/IP is set up
correctly on the computer that will execute the arp command. Perform the following procedure:
1. At Windows 95/98, select [MS-DOS prompt] from the [Start] menu. At Windows NT/2000, select
[Command prompt] from the [Start] menu.
2. Execute the arp command. For example, if the MAC address of the network interface card is
00:11:22:33:44:55 and the IP address to assign is 192.168.0.128, then input as shown below,
and then press [Enter].
(Example: C:\>arp -s 192.168.0.128 00-11-22-33-44-55
3. Execute the ping command for the assigned IP address. In this case no response is returned
from the network interface card.
(Example: C:\>ping 192.168.0.128
4. Turn off the main power supply to the print controller and the main body printer, then turn it
back on.
Chapter 2 Setting Up the Network Interface Card
2-4 Konica Network Interface Card INSTRUCTION MANUAL
A Status Page will be output. Check that the IP address is correctly set in the list. Or, when about 5
minutes have passed after having restarted the print controller and the main body printer using the
ping command, check that the network interface card responds correctly. The ping command is also
executed at Windows 95/98 MS-DOS prompt or Windows NT/2000 Command prompt. The example
of executing the ping command is shown below:
(Example: C:\>ping 192.168.0.128
