Hi oleresi

If there is a continues beep sound then the RAM is corrupted or gone, you need to replace a new RAM

Thank you

SOURCE: emachine model #3410 when I try to turn it on it

Sounds like a memory error, try this:
With the PC unplugged remove any new memory you have installed then plug it back in a power on.
If you haven't added any new memory than you have a bad memory module. If there are two sticks remove one at a time and check to see if the system starts up(unplug pc before removing ram.) If it starts up than that is your problem. You can purchase new ram relatively cheap.

Remove the RAM and start the PC again. If you get the same three beeps then you're probably looking at bad RAM. If however, the PC makes no noise, or other beep code, then it's not the RAM and in that case it may be the graphics card. In this case, you'll need to do a reflow/resolder of the graphics chip with a hot air gun.

If this was helpful and informative, please give it a Thumb Up. Thank you.

When i turned on my emachines w3611 there was three beeps and then the monitor shut off. what do i look at first in order to repair it ?

The problem is in the graphics card. If the monitor connects to the onboard video circuits, them you'll need to replace the motherboard.

My emachine won't turn on it only beeps repeatedly. How can I bypass and reset my emachine?

Beeping may be the fault of defective RAM Memory modules. Try pulling out half the RAM, and restarting, the put that back in and pull out the other half, and restart. What are the results?

I have a emachine, it goes on but nothing will show on the monitor. I was wondering what it could be to cause that

When you turn it on how many beeps if any does it make?

Obviously ensure monitor is turned on and connected to correct plug in desktop. How long has it been like this and what had you done with the pc before you noticed it not working eg driving with it in a car etc... sometimes the card can come loose and you just need to open the side of the case and push the card in a little.

Desk top emachine powers on

You state that thre are no beeps coming from the PC upon boot. If you remove the memory entirely and reboot, you should get a series of BIOS post tones. If you do not get these, I would first test your power supply to make sure it is working properly. If it is, you most likely have a failed hardware component: either motherboard or processor. If you get no post tones without memory loaded and with a known good power supply, the motherboard will be your problem child.

If you DO get post tones with a known good power supply, try replacing memory 1 stick at a time (if you have more than 1). If 1 works, you have your culprit. If neither work, then you most likely have a bad processor.

T6520 emachine. when i turn it on the fans start, the keyboard lights flash, the monitor led turns green (getting a signal) and about the time i'd expect to see some display image and/or hear the mobo spkr...

Based on your previous troubleshooting, with both built-in video and alternate video card, I'd guess you have a bad mobo. Anything else that was wrong with it (RAM, CPU, etc) and you'd get beep codes.

Sounds like it's time for a replacement board. If the eMachine is out of warranty, it might make more sense just to go ahead and upgrade now, as they are so inexpensive. If you are capable of replacing the board yourself, that would be the cheaper alternative.

Hope this helps - remember to rate (and great troubleshooting, btw!)

Emachine w2686 no display when boot up

Couple things to check. First, check with different monitor. Their monitors are usually build by KDS and I think there was a bad series out there. Also check for any beep codes through speakers on startup, this can tell you bad ram or bad video out. Also try unplugging computer and removing CMOS battery inside (watch like battery). Lastly, If non of the above, a bad processor will allow the computer to come on but no beep, no boot, no nothing but fans and green power light. Hope this helps a little.....
