Question about Frigidaire Kitchen Ranges

2 Answers

I have a frigidaire over model number FGF337AUE that has the same problem many others seem to have which is that the over just won't heat up. It was heating up VERY SLOWLY until today and now it's just not heating up. Stove top still works though. Is this something I can fix myself and of course what is the problem? Thanks so much for any help!

Sounds as if you need a new bake ignitor, def somethin you can do your self, remove the bottom of the oven floor to acess it, its screwed onto the bake burner and either plugged in or 2 wires disconnect right there, bring to a l;ocal wharehouse for the part, $50-$75. installs same way as comes out, remember to unplug unit before servicing wires will be live

Thats the bake bar, and the ignitor is the white ceramic part screwed 2 it, you got it!

Oven won't heat.

Good Afternoon Gwen - Try reprogramming the range by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and turn the unit back on. If issue persists, then the unit could possibly be experiencing an issue with a wiring failure, EOC (electronic oven control), sensor probe and/or faulty bake or broil element. I would strongly recommend consulting a professional to narrow down the precise issue before investing in parts that may or may not be the root cause.

Model number FGEF3032KWB frigidaire oven door won't unlock

Unplug, or turn the household circuit breaker off to the unit for about 15 minutes. If the door does not unlock itself then, contact Frigidaire for a service call. The door latch and/or control board will need to be replaced.

Hello,

That sounds like the heating element went out when it first goes it could look like a lightning strike. Replacing the bake or broil element ,depending which one was on at the time will fix your oven. If you were baking replace bake element if ya werebroiling replace that one.
Reply with EXACT model number and i'll give ya the part number

The right front element will not heat properly on my Frigidaire electric stove. If you turn the knob to a low number it barely heats. It is very frustrating because you cannot keep something warm or cook...

Without a proper model number I would say you need to replace the element or the infinite switch for the element. Best off to call a reliable repair company such as Sears.
