Here's the official HP download page for your printer. All you'll have to do is select your operating system and follow the procedure to download the drivers.

Once downloaded, you will need to start the downloaded file to do the setup. Note that you should first do the setup, and then plug in your printer so that the system will recognize the printer properly.

It appears 6210 has been deleted and my printer won't print. I do not have the dish to reinstall

Hi pastpassmore,

You can download the Driver from the HP website.

See the link to be able to download the driver for your printer you just need to select Software and Driver Downloads then select the Windows that you have to be able to get the link for the Driver exactly for you windows version to be downloaded and installed on your Computer.

on the list of drivers you need to download the driver product installation software for your printer to be detected in windows again.

Follow the instructions given by HP on their website.
You will need to select the operating system that you are using, the version of Windows that you are installing this printer on.

Remember you need a driver!

Turn OFF your computer and your printer, then power it on in a minute.
Next up is to navigate to the control panel and double click printers and faxes.

On the bottom right of the box that appears click the button that says Print Test Page.

A test page will then be printed, from this you will be able to tell if your printer is working or not.

I lost my installation disk for my HP officejet 6210 xi all in one printer. can print ok but cannot scan and need it to install the scanner part of it.

You can download the software and the drivers from HP website. Just select your OS and click search.

there are only basic drivers avail for the 6210 and windows 7

The issue sounds like it is with windows 7 you are going to have to go onto HP website and find the driver for windows 7 and update your driver for you printer on your computer
