On the bottom right of the usual desktop display there you should find a Nvidia green logo, to set Nvidia settings.
Right click on the green Nvidia Settings logo and put your mouse over Screen Rotation.
Select the option to set screen rotation to 0 degrees.

The other way is to go to the control panel and double click on Nvidia Control Panel and select Rotate Display.
Ensure that it is set to 0 Degrees/ No rotation landscape

Hope this puts it the right way up!
All the best!

Screen display is sideways

Hi all5r_mine,

Based on your situation. I suggest trying the following options:

Upside Down or Sideways Monitor Display

Problem Description:
The user accidentally pressed a keyboard combination that turned the entire monitor display upside down or sideways. The user cannot recall the keyboard combination that caused the problem and has no idea how to rectify the display.

Possible Solutions:
Some graphics cards have rotation "hot keys" enabled by default and this is probably the most common cause of this problem. The exact procedure for rectifying the display may depend on the particular brand and configuration of the graphics card in the problem computer. One of the following options may help resolve the issue.

Option One:
Try using the keyboard combination, "Control + Alt + Up Arrow Key". Control + Alt along with one of the arrow keys is a fairly common rotation hot-key configuration and may just do the trick.

Option Two:
If Option One doesn't work, see if there is a graphics card icon displayed in the Notification Area (near the Windows Clock). Clicking (or right-clicking) the icon may reveal a "Rotation Settings" option that will allow you to revert to "normal" display.

Option Three:
If neither of the previous options help, try the following procedure.

1. Right-click an open area of the desktop and click "Properties" to open the "Display Properties" window.

2. Click the "Settings" tab and then click the "Advanced" button to open the monitor settings window.

3. Click the tab corresponding to your graphics card. You may need to click one or more buttons within the tab to reveal a rotation settings option. Exactly where rotation settings are located will depend on the brand of graphics card installed.

4. Once you locate the rotation settings, choose the "0 degrees" or "normal" option to change the display to upright. The rotations settings may also give you the option of disabling rotation hot keys so that the problem does not happen again.

5. Click "OK" to save changes and exit out of any open properties windows.

Navigating through menus and choosing options when the display is abnormal is difficult but certainly not impossible.

Hope it helps.

Please rate this solution if found useful.

Best regards,

DISPLAYS ARE SIDEWAYS STRETCHED

This problem is because, when you formatted your PC, you have installed improper display driver of your PC model. This is also because of less capacity display/graphics card.

My computer screen is turnd sideways some how and i was cant figure out how to fix it

Ctrl + Alt + arrow keys.
Up gives you normal, Down gives upside down, left and right give 90deg rotation.
Try Ctrl+Alt+ Up Arrow, should come back to normal.

Icons and everything displayed sideways

If you're referring to the taskbar that's usually on the bottom of the desktop, click on the taskbar and drag it to the bottom. Then right click on the taskbar and check "Lock the taskbar". This should solve your problem. All the best.

Display is Sideway's.

You might be able to find what you are looking for in the display properties.  Right click on your desktop and select your video card.  There you should find screen setup.

Computer screen

I bet you mean it has rotated. I have seen this before. The computer I did this on, while holding down the "Ctrl" and "Alt" keys you press one of the arrow keys to rotate the screen. Depending on the arrow key, determines how much rotation you want.

This might not be the solution you want. You did not provide enough information about your display adapter. It is the display adapter software that does this. You will need to go to your display adapter software to key the correct key bindings. I am not talking about the "desktop display settings". If you have an nvidia graphics card then it will be the nvidia graphics adapter software that you installed. Not the driver, but the software that allows you to tweak your graphics adapter.

My advise, use that software to rotate your screen to the correct orientation, then disable those key bindings.
