Question about Televison & Video
The commonest cause of this problem is tuning the set top box when the aerial lead has become disconnected or is plugged into the wrong socket (should be in the rf in or antenna socket) . As part of the normal tuning process, all previous tuning info is automatically deleted and with the aerial lead disconnected you will then end up with nothing. Make sure the lead is properly connected to the aerial and tune again.
Another possibility is to go into the main tuning menu and select return to factory condition. This will force a main reset deleting all data and you will then have to work through the whole tuning process from scratch including, setting your State, setting the tv resolution (720p, 1080i etc.) If neither of these options work, and you are certain that the box is connected to a good signal, then the box may be faulty. Good luck.
