Hi. i have a nokia e63. i've been using it for a long time but now i got a problem with my phonebook. everytime i want to look on my contacts it always show sign in and sign up message. i was't able to see my contact list but if somebody called me the number showd up. can somebody help me with this problem immediately? thanks

Check the contact settings if what particular memory in use saves you phonebook,go to contacts and look for memory in use which your contacts is located.

To access your phone book (the annoying way) is to open the contacts so it shows the signin sign up buttons then push the right button on the directional pad so it selects the dropdown box at the top of the screen. then press the center button and then contacts. There is a way to disable this but i've forgotten. try using google to find out how.

this problem occurs when phone internal memory is low or corrupted, first do a contacts backup and complete back up on storage card, then do a factory reset from phone setting, and restore contacts fro card. if problem still persists do a online software update by downloading nokia software updater from nokia we site

Hi. Check your phonebook entries for your wife's number. You may have saved it twice with different names. Caller name will not show if contacts has duplicate entries of cell number.

Hi. Open your phonebook, press "Options" then scroll down to "Mark/Unmark" then press right navigation key and select "Mark All". Press "Options" again, scroll down to "Copy", press right navigation key, then select "To SIM Directory".

Go to your phonebook, press the option key and scroll down to mark all, after marking all the names, now press the option key again and press delete, all the enteries on your phonebook will be deleted at once.

Please makesure that they are all mark before you delete them.

No duplicates in there if there is more than one number attached to more than one name the nokia refuses to show caller name, cheak phonebook to make sure there is one number to one name only

I have recently purchased a Zumo 550 and successfully copied across selected phone book entries from a Nokia N95 without the need to use any additional apps:-

1) Assuming the N95 and Zumo are paired via BlueTooth
2) In N95 Contacts - use 'Mark' / 'Mark All' as necessary to select the contact entries you wish to transfer to the Zumo 550
3) In N95 Contacts - select 'Options' then 'Send Business Card' then 'Via Bluetooth'
4) Select the Zumo 550 device from the list of paired Bluetooth devices
5) Contact data is transferred from N95 phonebook to Zumo 550 phonebook

Interestingly, Garmin don't seem to list the Nokia N95 as being a supported device on their website, but the above process worked for me!!
