Yes its likely a power supply issue then anything else, if you know how to fix this then you can buy a replacement by calling the manufacture otherwise take it to a autherized service repair center, you will be happy you did because a new one would cost you so much more money!!!

I would suggest to check the wire connecting the main board with the LCD controller board. It might have been disconnected when repairing the ground connections.
