Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
If you have the disc reading problem then this is caused by the sensors on the back of the drive overheating.
In fact you will find that most of the problems on the Xbox 360 are caused by overheating and if you can stop the heat build up you will be fine.
To do this you can send the system in and they will fix it for you - the downside with this problem is that you will have to pay out $140 for the fix.
The other way that you can fix it is by using a good Xbox 360 Repair guide and I have put together a review site that shows the best ones HERE.
If you find this helps you please rate it so it can help others.
