HI: I plugged My Maytag M6Y12F2A-E air conditioner that is made for a 110 electric outlet into a 230 receptacle. The unit worked for about 30 seconds and then died. We are looking for the part that would help us get out 12000 BTU air conditioning up and running

I replaced the control box and thermostat but i have no power to the thermostat

I know this is an old question but almost all rooftop AC units get thermostat power from the Furnace. If you don't have good 12 volts at the furnace your thermostat will not work.

I see no reason why not, once you have lower unit (control box) and wiring diagram. When you call that number, have your current model number ready of upper unit, and I'd ask for technical assistance. Good Luck.

Low voltage wires

I just tested a mastercool control box and found these 4 control wire colors:

Red (24v supply)
White (pump)
Green (low blower)
Yellow (high blower)

The yellow acted as a common for testing when the blower was not on high.

Blower on low just green has 24v.
Blower on high green and yellow have 24v.

If there was a fifth wire added hopefully it would be a ground wire.

There was also the low gauge wires that were black, white, and ground that were not control wires and delivered power to the control box.
