Question about Roper RAS8445KQ Top Load Washer
If it is not going through any of the cycles then you most likely have a bad timer assembly... if it fills with water but then won't wash,spin or drain even when you put it to the setting on timer...check your lid switch most likely bad. you can unplug unit and by-pass to test. take a jumper wire and jump the two terminals of the plug out usually the two outside terminals plug back in and see if it works then if so you know you got a bad lid switch... they put these on as a safety feature so when you raise the lid it kills the operation of unit during any moving parts
