Question about Brother Sewing Machines
Apparently Brother machines are notorious for not shirring with elastic thread. I use a cs6000i and have had nothing but trouble untill now. Self wind your bobbin with the elastic thread, not too tight, not too loose. Don't use the bobbin winder on the machine-it will pull the elastic thread too tight. Remember to use regular thread for your top thread. Read/watch the two tutorials and you'll be on your way! I tried everything I could think of and these two solutions were the only ones that worked for me. Good luck and hang in there, you'll get it! http://www.sewmamasew.com/forum/index.php?topic=3352.0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvXzoFzvVF

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
