1 Answer

I cant get the flash light to work on my aluratec AHDVC03F, 1080p cinecam camcorder. I tried pressing up on the 4-way direction button like it says in the manual but it still wont work, I even have it in night mode, not sure if that makes a difference or not. I know the light works because It works for a flash when taking pictures but it wont work as a flash light. the camera doesn't have very good lighting to begin with so I need this for recording in low light and and darkness. please help

For video, you need continuous lighting, not a flash.

I had this problem and Aluratek did a poor job describing this feature in their product. Use the FUNC/SELECTOR (Circle below the record button) and press it up for flashlight, to the sides and down for other options.

Hope that helps.

I cant get the remote and the t.v. synchronized

Try these methods.
Direct Code Entry
  1. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
  2. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
  3. Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
  4. With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand.

    Code Search Method
    1. Manually turn on the device (TV, VCR, etc.) to be controlled.
    2. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
    3. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks once, then stays on.
    4. Press the CHANNEL UP button repeatedly (up to 300 times) until the device to be controlled changes channel. The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
    5. Press and release MUTE to install the code. The indicator light goes off.
Most users will want to store VCR codes under the VCR button, Cable codes under CBL, etc. If you want to store a VCR code under CBL, etc., first follow the procedure for Direct Code Entry and press CBL in step 2 of Direct Code Entry, then enter ANY VCR code in step 3 of Direct Code Entry. Then follow the steps above for Code Search.

Ive just purchased a vivitar 830xhd camcorder and

The flash on the camcorder only works while taking still pictures, not for videos.

For still pictures, pressing the Flash button on the lower-left corner of the display gives you three options: Auto, On, and Off.

For videos, if you want more light, you're going to have to look elsewhere. Any good camera store can show you a selction of lights.
