Question about Motorola Mobility MD761 Cordless Phone

How do I reset my Motorola MD761 cordless phone? I am going to give it away but the redial key has all my old numbers in it. How do I erase all the old redial numbers from memory?

How to delete dialed numbers


Follow these steps:

1. Press Redial button
2. Press arrow up/down and select the desired number
3. Press Erase (soft key)
5. Press arrow up/down
6. Press Yes

That's it.

Need to erase numbers stored on speed dial


Go to uniden.com and look in customer service/manuals. They may have it to download. You'll need the model #

Change the channel on the base or the phones. That should fix the problem.

Open this link; go to the FAQ's for an MD760/MD761 and it solved my similar problem for my phone. Primarily, you will be resetting your system (almost like rebooting) and if necessary, deregister and follow with registering. I did not have to do the last part (deregister), but it does work. Hooking up my phones


on the handsets, use the menu until you find register. It's pretty easy from there.
