You can call 1-800-3-conair . The cs36r has a 2 year warranty. Even if you do not have a receipt, they can use the manf date on the silver prongs on the electrical plug (4 digit date code). If this is within 2 years, you can return it after obtaining a return service number. i had to send my daughter's back after only 8 months. They answered on the first ring and within 5 minutes I had the number to send it back. There is a $3 charge for the return shipping. Hope this helps anyone out there with the same problem.

Conair mini split heat pump isn't cooling but has cold suction line but warm liquid line and is not freezing up the evaporator. Thinking a sucking reversing valve?? What could cause that? Both evapor

Make sure that your refrigerant charge is good first. Reversing valve has 4 pipes coming off of it. The one alone is discharge and centre of 3 is suction always. The two sides are the reversing pipes. One side should be same temp as discharge and other same temp (+-5F) as suction. If not then you have bypassing refrigerant in valve. Bad.

I have a 5 ton goodmsn heat pump it only blows cold air the heat doesnt come on have a new heat strip in it but still blows cod air

Heat pumps require a reversing valve for heat operation on the outdoor section, a control signal to a "O" terminal or orange wire is required for heating and cooling depending on the thermostat and out door unit requirements. The thermostat also has to be heat pump type for the system to operate heat for electric system with heat strip, two stage electric heating.

Gas furnice will run but doesnt seem to flame burning! but it does run an doesnt blow heat?

check the ignitor if this unit has one...have a volt meter ready.unplug unit and unplug the ignitor place the leads to your meter in the ignitor molex plug one lead in each hole of the molex plug. turn the unit back on with power restored the small enducer draft motor should come on and then activate the pressure switch which has a hose connected to it. once it activates should send power to ignitor you are getting power but the ignitor is not glowing when connected then you have a bad ignitor. you did not post model mut if it is gas unit it will have either a ignitor or a pilot assembly... if it is a pilot assembly repost and one of us will be glad to walk you through checking it...good luck to you

My furnace is running but i don't think the main blower is kicking on, does it have its own fuse or a reset. I think its a conair but dont know where to look for model #

Usually the newer heaters have a heat exchanger temp sensor, this tells the fan to com on when the heat exchanger is hot enough, some models have just a timer, you will need to see if you are getting power to the fan. have a qualified person check your system.
