if windows the download a windows password changer bootable cd, if bios then remove bios battery for 10 minutes and replace it.

You will need to either reinstall Windows or you can search the internet for password recovery software. There is usually a fee on some of these sites. Dell does not have any generic passwords to help you get back into Windows.

Hi, if the computer says its locked, then you may need to insert your password to login, if you dont no this password, and you know there is another account which does not require a password you can simply restart the computer to access the other account, either by holding the power button for 3 seconds or by pressing the reset switch.

(NOTE: any unsaved data on the locked account will be lost).
