sounds like you have blown your acc fuse or your risistor on your red wire on your radio has shorted out you can bypass this wire by choping it off it dose not affect the radio ,dvd at all.

Red is ignition-Yellow is battery-Black is ground-Blue is remote for amp or antenna-Orange is illumination-Speaker wires are usually grey, grey w/blk stripe-white, white w/white stripe-green, green w/blk stripe-purple, purple w/blk stripe.
