I first purchased my Palm

I first purchased my Palm several years ago, then my second almost 2 years ago, it was stolen. I have replaced it just recently, along with the keyboard, etc, The disc that you provided me would not work. I placed an old disc im my computer and was able to down loaded it. I question since I am using a startup disc that is several years old, is there going to be upgraded information that I am not getting with this old disc? Or, does this new disc that I could not download the very same as the old one? If not then I am going to need another "new" disc sent to me. Thank you.
