Question about Kitchen Ranges
Check to be sure you are going the right way through the tensioner- some will tighten up when the thread passes the wrong way through them. Some tensioners that I have seen aren't obvious as to just where the darn thread goes through it- if it looks like there are more ways to pass the thread through try 'em.
Are you breaking both threads or just the top or bottom? If it's breaking both top and bottom you might have some rotten thread. If it's breaking at the needle, look to see if the thread is bunching up in the eye. Might try a new needle too, if that's where the trouble is.
