Sounds like your display panel is going out. Has the tv been droped, or hit by anything? You should call your customer service number to confirm.

Unplug for 30 seconds from it's power source and then try it again. If that doesn't work, call Samsung for further troubleshooting and have your model number and serial number handy. Please be prepared to tell them how long the line is.

Had bad buzzing after connecting an old Proton monitor (1986) to cable box. Read some of the solutions here, readjusted the manual Balance -- presto. Sharing this in case it helps others. Thanks, all.
