The channels burn out its a common fault the quick fix is to buy a rca adaptor to run 1 output to 2 or replace the cd player it will cost a lot less to replace than fix

The rear left and right channel has a audio output ic problem, first check rear speaker wires for shorts, if okay! the system will need to be assessed for repair costs.

Hello
The (+ve) & (--ve) poles of the connection wires have neen reversed is the meaning. Just interchange the wires of each either at speaker box or at the output terminals of the amp. If these connection are reversed, the sound effect will vary in intesity. OK.

Trying to install my new home theatre

Are you sure the wire is not damaged somewhere? Are you sure that you are connecting the wire to the correct terminal on the receiver? Is the speaker OK?

To test all of this, try different combinations. With Right speaker working, disconnect the wire from speaker and connect it to the left speaker. If it doesn't work, then the left speaker is faulty.

Now disconnect the wire from receiver's right-front terminal and connect to left-front terminal. If it doesn't work, you are either connecting to wrong terminal or the terminal/receiver is faulty.

At last, try using the "left" wire to connect the rigth speaker to right terminal. If it doesn't work, the wire is faulty.

P.S. The +/- doesn't matter for testing, the sound should go either. It is just needed to have all speakers connected in the same polarity, because else the sound waves would eliminate themselves.

How do you install it correct

the audio source's output should connect to the inputs of the TS-WX11. caution on power supply connection: don't reverse the polarity of the positive and the negative wires.
Remember also to set your HU's output in order for it to work. If it does not work yet please give the details on your HU and other devices being used.

The left side sound is intermittent

Sounds like dirt in the volume control or a high resistance speaker wire.
Try switching the right and left speaker wires and see if the problem changes.

Have you reset the settings in the system to 5.1?Are the rest of the speakers working? Go over the wireing yourself just unplug one at a time and reseat it on both ends system end and speaker end it may just be that when he put it together again one of the wires wasn't set back just right.

So your saying that you have no rear channel. Some recivers use a single stereo output ic for both sides on the rear speakers. you could have a defect with this IC . Anther thing Im sure you check3ed the obvious ie : the switch is on suround sound? If there is a front to rear fader is it in the middle? Good Luck
