1999 Chrysler Town and Country with an Infinity Stereo, trying to install an aftermarket radio it powers on just fine but no sound

Can't suggest anything except go to installdr.com and search out your vehicle's wiring info. Couple guys I work with used that site with success on their aftermarket installations.
Good luck,

I am considering buying a 7year old Liberty Concord stairlift for my mom but i need to know about the ''re-installation'' problems and or cost?

Are you planning to install it yourself? There is much to consider, even if you hire someone to so it. Contact the company and see if they have some recommendations. Maybe a new one with an install would be comparable. Think of all the issues with moving and installing....?? Power? The company that sells them knows all the issues and deals with it on a regular basis.

The cassett will not eject. when I push eject button it says no

Got to love the factory stereo. I had this problem with my 1999 Taurus. I had to remove the stereo (use a pair of wire coat hanger pieces bent into a U shape and slide them into the holes on either side of the panel, you'll feel a click when you've aligned them correctly, then pull it out). Disconnect everything and use a set of jeweler's screwdrivers to take apart the tape player assembly. Bad news though, it sounds like the ejection action is bad. If you were planning on replacing the stereo with an after-market, now is the time to do it. You'll have better luck installing or having installed a new stereo.

Installing self amplified sub to factory stereo

Hello Jax GS300,

Yes, you can use RCA cables. Just wire in a "low-level" converter.

Using RCA's is really the best way, allowing you to run shielded wiring to the sub, making it less likely that the wiring will pick up electrical interference. I'd install the converter on the rear speaker wires behind the dash.

If you do not want to convert the speaker output, you can drive the Kenwood directly from the speaker wires. The diagram in the install manual shows the connections coming off the rear speakers.

Here's a link to one output converter. This one will convert all 4 speakers.

Hope this helps.

Buying and Installing a CD Player for my vehicle

Most factory stereos are larger than after-market stereos, and after you install an after-market stereo there will be a large gap where the factory stereo used to be. You can go to most stereo retailers to find an install kit specific to your model of vehicle. It is possible to install the stereo yourself, but from experience it has been easier for me to just take it to a retailer and let them do the dirty work for you. Some retailers even offer free installation with/without a minimum purchase.
