Question about Iomega (33654) Limited Edition 500 GB USB Hard Drive
Use the Disk manage utility. right click on my computer icon on desktop ( if you are running xp), click on manage, then choose disk management. all installed drives will open , identify your Iomega disk on the right lower hand side, right click it and choose format. all should be ok after.

Right-click 'computer' or 'my computer' (in xp) and left-click manage. Next, click on disk management, and from there you should be able to partition the drive and format it.
